Marinara Sauce for Linguine

Cook 5 minutes:
¼ cup olive oil
1 medium onion
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 large carrots, sliced
Add: 6
med. fresh tomatoes or 1 large can tomatoes
1
teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 teaspoon salt or to
taste
¼
teaspoon pepper
Cook 12 minutes. Add 3 tbsp. butter
Could add ½ lb. sliced mushrooms during last 5
minutes.
