Peach Crisp

Peach Crisp

Pour one quart of canned peaches with some of the juice drained off into an 8"x8" pan. Sprinkle with 1½ teaspoons of ground cinnamon. Stir a bit.


Topping;
      1 cup brown sugar
      ¾ cup flour
      ½ teaspoon salt
      ¾ cup cold butter (when in a hurry I use room temp butter)
      1 cup quick oats

Place ingredients into a large bowl and mix like pastry with a pastry blender.
Spoon over peaches.
Bake in 350* oven about 50 to 60 minutes. (I like it to brown a bit and be crispy around edges.)
