Barb’s Lemon Squares
1 cup flour
¼ cup icing sugar
½ cup butter
¼ tsp. salt
¼ cup ground almonds
Mix together. Press into 8” or 9” pan.
Bake 12 minutes in 350* oven.
Beat together: 2
eggs
1
cup sugar
¼
tsp. baking powder
2
Tb. lemon juice
grated
rind of one lemon
2
Tb. flour
Pour over crust. Finish baking about 20 minutes
longer.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with icing sugar.
