Carrot Cookies - Aunt Edna
Cream: 1 cup sugar
¾ cup margarine
1 egg
Add: 1 cup cooked, mashed carrots
1 cup walnuts, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
¼ tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 cups flour
Mix
well. Drop from teaspoon onto greased baking sheet.
Bake
at 350* until lightly golden.
Ice
while warm. Use rind and juice of 1 orange, soft butter, and icing sugar.
