Orange Crunch salad


Orange Crunch Salad – Aunt Edna

1 head iceberg lettuce and ¼ head romaine or other lettuce
1 can mandarin oranges, drained
Thinly sliced red onion rings.

Dressing:         ¾ cup sugar
                        1/3 cup white vinegar
                        2 Tb. chopped onion
                        1½ Tb. dry mustard
                        1 cup oil
Whip until thick. Pour over salad. Sprinkle with toasted slivered almonds.
