Corn Dogs


Corn Dogs

Batter: ½ cup cornmeal
            1 cup flour
            ¼ cup sugar
            1 cup milk
            1 beaten egg
            3 teaspoons baking powder
            skewers and wieners

1. Beat ingredients together. Put into tall narrow container. 
   (It is good to boil wieners first then dry before dipping into batter.)
2. Insert stick for holding. Dip wiener into batter until coated. 
3. Deep fry for a few minutes until golden brown. 
    Make sure the fat is not so hot that batter browns but your wiener doesn’t get cooked.
